Tonight

Check In
Check-In will be from 6:00p-7:30p at the NRH campus. Students need to have already eaten dinner prior to arriving at the NRH campus and parents will need to arrive with their students to check in. If for any reason you will not be able to make it to check in, we must be aware ahead of time, because there will be forms we must have signed. You will have a chance to meet your students Host Home and Leader at this time and you will receive the all necessary contact information. Each student will receive a T-shirt, journal, bookmark and pen, which is included in the cost of registration.

Saturday Evening Off-Site Activities
During the Saturday evening services at the NRH campus, we will be taking buses to Kincaid’s Hamburgers in Southlake for dinner and Summit Rock Climbing in Grapevine. These activities are at no extra cost. In order to participate in the off-site activities, we must have signed release forms. They are attached to this email, and for time saving purposes, you may print them off and have them signed and ready before check in. We will, however, have them available at check-in.

What to bring? Bring a towel, toiletries, a sleeping bag, pillow, casual clothes and anything else necessary to spend the night at someone’s home for two nights. All participants should wear nicer jeans with their Plug In T-shirts to church on Sunday morning. Students do not need to bring any money with them. The coffee bar will not be accessible to students during the Plug In weekend.

Pick Up
Students will be attending the 9:00a service on Sunday morning at the NRH campus. Students will be bringing their belongings with them that morning, and will be available for pick up after the service. If for any reason you need a student to leave earlier than the designated time, I must have a handwritten letter turned in at Check In detailing why they are leaving early, with whom, and when. If you have any questions please contact Brittney Nelson at 817.552.3768 or email amped@gatewaypeople.com.

What to Bring?

Bring a towel, toiletries, a sleeping bag, pillow, casual clothes and anything else necessary to spend the night at someone’s home. Also remember to bring your Bible. All participants wear their Plug In t-shirts on Sunday morning to church.

Almost here!

Well, it's Thursday and the event kicks off tomorrow night. There's been a lot of prep and a lot of leaders have put in some late night planning for this, and it looks to be a great weekend! As you are planning and packing your sleeping bags for this weekend, please take a moment with your family to pray for all of the students that will be participating. Pray for the small groups to be effective and have a huge impact, pray for the services; that everyone will engage in worship, and pray for Chris Shandrow that will be speaking at the services that God will give a relevant word through him and give him wisdom. Also pray for the weather. While we are planning all of the games indoors, we still need to travel back to the host homes at night and on Saturday for our evening meal. I am praying for no ice and that everyone will be safe.

Thank you to everyone that has registered and invested into this weekend. It is my desire and prayer that every student and leader will "plug in" to what God has for them and grow closer to Him in understanding and in their relationship. This is an important first event of the year to set the pace for the spiritual growth and discipleship of these great Jr Highers. Plug In will help them in their personal life and also help them to be a powerful influence for Christ!
